Alex is officially a big boy!

We spent all week and this weekend getting Harrison's room ready to welcome his little brother. Ha ha! The closet is cleaned out and reorganized, the playroom is more spacious and orderly with all the toys in their places and Alex's twin bed is made complete with a bed rail that will hopefully keep him in. As much as I am ready for Ian to go into his own room and for Alex to move in with his bro, I will have to admit I'm a little sad that Alex is going to be sleeping in a big boy bed. No matter how ready you are to have them get bigger and act bigger, it's still sad. Kevin TOTALLY disagrees with me and is thrilled! I guess I want to keep them my babies forever...well as long as they move out, go to college and get good jobs. Yeah, that kind of baby. I'll let you know how the first night goes tomorrow!
